Waterworks on the Carnival Ecstacy?

we are taking a cruise on the carnival ecstasy in may and i have heard alot about changes being made to the ship, including a water play area called waterworks, but i can't find anything saying if it is done yet...has anyone sailed on this ship recently who could tell me?

I think it will be done late this year. The carnival imagination has already been update. It leaves from Florida though instead of Texas.
