It depends on what classes you take, what teachers that teach those classes are like and what school you go to. 7th grade was my best year for me. Not too hard, not too easy.

middle school/elementary school are pointless..  work your hardest in high school, especially 11th grade.

it depends on who your teachers are and what your school is like but 7th grade is pretty much the least exciting year of middle school (not to get you sad or anything) because it's not new and exciting like 6th grade, and it's not the last hurah like 8th grade. but don't worry it doesn't go on that long, and just savor your time in middle school when grades don't really count! still try hard though!!! good luck!

My thoughts... keep in mind I was in 7th grade 10 years ago!  But seriously, I don't think it's changed much.

I didn't like it much, to be honest. But that was the year I started junior high; in most areas, you've already been in middle school for a year and it's no big deal.  My school was pretty rough and there were kids getting beaten up and hauled off in ambulances and cop cars every day, and I got teased a lot because I was pretty dorky at that age.  I didn't do as well in school that year because of all that, and b/c I got stressed out from all the homework, but it didn't hurt me in the long run at all... I got straight As throughout most of high school and got a huge scholarship into college, so don't sweat it.  I also got in trouble a lot in 7th and 8th grade, but it was for stupid small things and I never got in trouble in high school.  Do as well as you can in 7th grade, but those grades don't reflect how well you'll do in the future at all.

Just try different activities and classes to see what you like, what you're good at, and to meet new people.  I had all my academic classes with the same 19 other people I'd known for years, and we didn't get along very well.  It was hard for me to make friends, then, b/c most of the time I was with this same small group.  But I did make friends in my electives, like choir and art and sewing and whatnot, and in clubs, like drama club and the track team, and after a while everything was fine.  Being nice and talking to other people helps a lot.

Does your school have dances?  That was one of the best parts of 7th grade for me!  It was so fun to dance with your friends and see if any guys would ask you to dance.

Basically, it's way different from elementary school, and you'll have to be more responsible, but it can be a lot of fun.  Don't tease the dorky kids (like I was!!!!) :D
