Wats a cool arts and crafts idea for the olympics?

for preschoolers, age 3-4.. i have a torch and the olympic rings.. anything else i could do?

  1. + Use the torch to have a relay run to reach the flame bow at the end.

    + Lay out assortment of sport pix or equipment types. Ask the kid to pick their favorite, ask why. Tell them more about that sport. Have them glue pix together for a collage.

    + Briefly explain what the circular color rings mean. Have kids cut out circles with construction paper (or cut ahead for them), they can glue together on a white piece of paper to make Olympic flags. Staple/tape on to a string. Make banners to go around and/on top of class walls. More kids - try to make smaller flags, maybe half of white 8 x 11.5 pritner/copy paper.

    + Not very cool but coloring page for a sport a day. Read them a little book, give info about that sport b4 they color. At the end of let's say 2 weeks, you/they can bind together their pages and make a Olympic flag page for the cover of their collection.
