Wats a good size for breeding cages ?

i have lovebirds wat is a good breeding cage size

  1. Ensure the larger cage has small enough bar spacing that the birds can't get a head caught, or escape.

    The hen/female should be able to get away from the male if she chooses to..and both be able to fully spread their wings.

  3. A cage that can fit a nest box, water tubes, a few jar feeders on the cage floor. Otherwise the cage doesn't have to be huge nor small but a medium size would be good. If you need tips and advice on how to raise the chicks and/or set up the cage check out this website

  4. Hi,

    Firstly i have never known anybody to breed lovebirds in breeding cages normally they are always bred in an aviary. But i would say that the breeding cages would have to be big at least three foot long and 18inches high to give them enough room to fly.
