  1. I like Irish Spring soap for that. It is the strongest smelling soap I can think of. You could do this, the little gel plug in that came out a long time ago, makes a great drawer freshener. It is Small, rectangular and looks like it has two small trays of jell-like stuff in it. It comes in a variety if scents that  match the season. I get them at the dollar stores we have here.

  2. I would go to a store, like Bath and Body Works. You can sample the scents there and decide what you like best. They have all kinds of fragrances and their soaps are highly scented so it could work great for making your drawers smell nice.

Another thing I use is fabric softener sheets. I put one in the very bottom of each drawer and change them out when the smell starts to wear off. If you try this make sure to put a paper towel over them because they can discolor some fabrics according to the box (though this hasn't happened to me yet)

  3. The bath beads have a waxy coating on them that will keep most of the scent inside.  Use small bars, like hotel soaps. One or two per drawer should do the trick.

Try using the Yankee Candle Tarts or Votives wrapped in a bit of white tissue to keep the oils off your clothes.

Or, go to your local bath store and pick out your favorite scent.
