  1. A simple T-Shirt that says, "I Love Allah". If that doesn't just breeze your friend through customs at the airport then at least I know I'm safe & don't have to move OUT of the US... But seriously, you may want to keep it simple like a universal power adaptor for plugging in electronics.

  2. gold or jewlery

  3. sweet smile

  4. DID U GET THEIR WEDDING CARD FRAME that and give it to them see happy they feel coz IT  WILL LOOK SPECIAL

SIMPLE “N” rajini here thanx for 2 points

  5. I don't know where you're from, so I can't be extremely specific. If your friend likes cooking, get her a spice set that is traditional for your country. That way, they can both enjoy the meals. Make sure it's well sealed and has proof of origin and content, in case she has to open her bags for customs/security.

Something decorative for the house is also a good idea, but avoid very fragile decorations. Is there something that's considered a symbol for good luck in your country? If there's an animal/flower/something similar that's considered a symbol for good luck, you can get the couple a small statue, a painting, or something similar with the symbol on it.

Jewelery is easy to transport, but it's a hit-and-miss gift. It's only for the bride, and many women have very specific styles when it comes to jewelery, so she may not wear it.

Another good idea is to get her something that will remind her of a daily routine that's traditional in your country. For example, you can get her a set of traditional coffee/tea cups with a nice pack of tea or coffee. Just make sure you pack them really well.

If they are traveling really light and can't take anything, you can always get her a gift card online from a major US store, and have it shipped to her US address. That's very practical, but it's not the most personal gift if you are very close friends.

    hope this helps you..

    .

  7. Gift cards of any Stores you like.

Example, Ikea, Walmart, and many other.

The good thing about it is that 1- they really need it as they are getting married. 2- give them the option to buy what they need. 3- you might bring them something that they already have or don't like

  8. A picture frame is something they could keep and even put their wedding picture in. Or things like candlesticks or champagne / wine glasses... It's more personal than a toaster or bread maker. :)

Also see if they are registered... Then you can know what they want and have gotten so far. They are setting up a life together and those things were picked out by them themselves.

  9. some traditional or u can say typical indian gift..which is hardly available there in US (like heavy embrodery worked designer kurta)

  10. Yeah, give her/him something which he/she will not be able to buy easily in the US. Maybe something very ethnic.. something like a beautifully handcrafted showpiece (I recently gave a london friend of mine a beautiful minakari box and she was so pleased to receive it) or even better is giving her something which he/she will be able to use in the kitchen. Even a simple Ganesha murti (depending on your budget) will be a  lovely wedding gift.

  11. If they are going to be driving in the US

    a GPS navigational unit.

  12. some jewellery, a good handbag, a watch, good handicrafts, wardrobe, precious stones ring etc....

  13. Something Native from where you two are from that is not easy to get in the states. Jewelry is always nice, and travels well. A nice embroidered blanket.

    Gift Cards

    Something Native from Home

    Jewelry

    Blanket

Map of where she will be.

  14. I would suggest money as any gift you give them will have to be either carried or shipped to the U.S...  With current airline baggage restrictions and the cost of shipping it may cost them more to transport your gift than it did for you to buy it...

If you want to get a specific item look on-line in U.S. stores to get a general idea of the cost of that item...  Call your local bank and get currency exchange rates...

Give your friend a card with the appropriate amount of money for the gift you have selected and a note telling them what you want them to get for themselves with the money when they arrive in the U.S....

  15. A big sturdy suitcase
