my girlfriends gon have a baby in a while nd im jus wonderin wats it like ta be a teen dad at 16?

In most situations where the boy sticks around it works out like this:

The dad goes to work to earn money for the baby. The mom stays at home because her growing belly and aching body prevents her from doing very much physically.

She goes through the birth, wakes up in the middle of the night to feed the baby, takes care of the baby while it's sick.. The dad just works, and during his time off, gets the FUN part of the job-- playing with the baby. Most dads refuse to even change diapers.

I highly suggest offering to help your girlfriend with the baby. I'm sure she's very stressed out and it will just get worse once the baby comes.

they dont have to go through f.u.ck.in.g 9 months of agony and pain like the mothers do.

it depends if you want it to be the easiest thing on earth don't stay with her or the baby, don't care about her, and act like you don't even have one!

but if you want to be the greatest teen dad and show other boys an example care for her and the baby, show her that it is your responsibility too, and let her know that you love her and the baby [don't say if you don't mean it] and you will always be there. commitment huh? if you believe , you will get through!

its hard a lot ofresponsibilityy for you and your girlfriend just keep your head up stay in school and stay by your girl its gonna b difficult but you just need to hang in there good luck
