Wats the best way to clean the plates on my GHD`s?

There a bit rough feeling.... its hairspray i know, but i dont wanna use anything harsh on them cos i know u can wear away the coating on the plates

a damp cloth! seriously!! i kno it sounds obvious but thats what my hairdresser told me to use!

i read that the best way is just to use a damp cloth and wipe then gently.

Maybe a wet wipe? It's not rough but if the hair spray doesn't come off put some effort into it & it should.

Hi I normally just use a baby wipe or damp cloth to clean mine with. But mine dont get that dirty as the only thing I use on my hair before straightening is haet protection spray. Be careful when using hairspray before straightening it can really damage you hair. x

Wait till they have cooled, but not completley cold. And use a damp cloth to wipe the plates. Dont use any products!!! As it will just burn off onto your hair when you use them.

I'm not sure, I'm assuming a soft, damp cloth with no harsh chemicals on it.. I am overjoyed because I finally (after wanting it for months!!!), got mine over the weekend - can't explain the excitement lol :)

Still need to read about exactly how it should be used to prevent damage to it, or my hair, so I'l probably be watching the cd and everything when I get home.. Don't you have the manual or something? I'm sure it tells you exactly how to clean it, etc.
