Wats the best way to kill a Wasp?

Look my mom and i knocked down a wasp nest and now there getting inside and im killing them with a spray but they come back and im scared they will sting me and my mom and my pets. Wats the best way to get rid of them besides calling an exterminator?

Ortho wasp and hornet killer.  The raid stuff is junk.  It does kill them but it allows them to fly out of the nest before they die.  The ortho product foams when it is sprayed which keeps any of the wasps from flying out and stinging you.

buy some more wasp spray and zap them when you can.

Next time you want to kill wasps do it at nite when they are asleep in the nest.

They make a special spray just for killing paper wasps. Stuff sprays 12 feet, kills on contact. You're supposed to spray the nest while it's still hanging there. Poison soaks in killing all the wasps inside and renders the nest uninhabitable so surviving wasps relocate. I guess you can still spray the nest on the ground after the wasps calm down again. Live and learn.
