Wats the deal with this HD programming?

the ads r all like "OMG ITS THE GREATEST THING U WILL EVER EXPERIENCE, ITS SO LIFELIKE, MAKE U FEEL U ARE RIGHT THERE, BETTER THAN LIFE ITSELF"

yea....but i dont really see the difference, i watch sumting on digital and then watch a HD program and they look exactly the same, i have a FULL HD plasma TV aswell.

  1. Ads always exaggerate to get peeps attention, to make you buy their product.  But  dude there's a difference between digi and HD programming!


  2. Is the digital you are watching 720p or better? I have digital coming into my home, and I have HD via a antenna, and there is a huge difference between the two. Standard digital tv is 480i, HD is 720 or 1080. If you stretch 480i to fit a "Wide Screen" the picture is pretty bad! but if you get a good 1080i broadcast, the picture is great, and MUCH better than standard broadcast.

  3. Check you connection, and the signal, if you are really getting HD programming or maybe you need glasses.

  4. You might need to buy a HDMI cable to connect it from your HDTV to the HD cable box or receiver.
