  1. I had a BMW 320 D se. It was a brilliant car. I didnt know they did an es?

  2. buy the one that is not dyslexic

  3. The 3-Series ES was a special edition, available for a limited period offering a generous amount of standard kit (unlike most BMWs), plus a free servicing package.  It was brought out to attract Mondeo Man away from Ford.

  4. As the previous answer stated the ES sits in the BMW model range below the SE. It has a higher specification than the base spec model is priced lower than it would cost to spec up a base model to the equivalent.

Whether it is a good price depends on what year it is and if it has a good history etc.

Avoid cars without a full dealer service history.

  5. Contrary to other answers, the ES is still part of BMW's range and sits below the SE in terms of spec, for example the ES gets manual Air Con where as the SE gets Climate Control, there are other differences but neither is a bad car.

So if its got the equipment you want go for it.
