Wats with the jews having big noses thing?

where did pp come up with the whole jews having big noses thing. im jewish and i dont have a big nose and all the jews i know dont have big noses. plus does that mean if like someone converted to judaism thier nose would suddenly grow?

OK, don't get mad at me, but my Jewess friend told me " We have big noses, because air is free." Now I don't know if this is true, but he said it is. I see nothing wrong with a big nose. People all so say you have a Roman Nose if it is big. I don't see how one is better then the other. But if I have offended any one then "Shame On Me".

Are you kidding me? Do you know who Sara Silverman is? Do you know Jerry Seinfeld? How about Leonard Nimoy. Just think of the people in Adam Sandler's  Chanukah song and look up their pictures online...look at Adam Sandler!

(Who cares what size nose people have anyway? Sarah Silverman is HOT.)

A fairly considerable percentage, but of course certainly not all, Ashkenazi jews have relatively large noses compared to the surrounding gentile populations.

It's just an ethnic trait, that's all.

comics where made before the holocost that portraid jews as having huge noses it de-valued them and it gave hitler power over the public. they all thought that all jews had some deformity with their noses so it made them like what was wrong with the world so hitler gave a solution to the "problem"

its a racial/ethnic myth that grew in Europe from western europeans encontering ashkenasim jews from eastern Europe. Eastern Europenan/Slavic jews  share many features of non Jewish Slavs, such as broad facial features, like noses and eyebrows. This is attributed with sharing a large percentage of the gene pool with Slavic and Caucassian peoples this does not mean that all Jews or all Slavs have big noses but enough do to make it a stereotype.

Many people seem to forget the the Jewish people are an Ethnic/religious group and not specifically a single race , most world races are infact represented in Judaism.
