The Borussia Dortmund CEO has insisted that Jurgen Klopp will not leave the club at the end of the season.
Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed that Jurgen Klopp will honour his current deal with the club and admitted that the manager has no plans to leave the side after recent speculation that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are targeting him.
Watzke claimed that Klopp has signed a long-term deal with Borussia Dortmund and there is no way he will leave for another side. He admitted that the club has a great relation with the manager and assured that Klopp will not even
leave if called for the German national team.
The chief is confident that Klopp has no plans whatsoever to leave the reigning German champions in the summer and the manager is very happy with his current post at the club.
“We will be sticking to our agreements. We have sworn an oath as friends. Klopp would not be available even for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684, and we did discuss every eventuality during negotiations. Until 2016, there is nobody who can separate
us,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the Chairman criticized the idea to demolish the UEFA Europa League and increase the number of teams in the UEFA Champions League. He insisted that the Champions League is a premium product and it should not
be watered down.
Watzke blasted the idea and admitted that the Europa League is a good competition for the comparatively less strong teams. He insisted that the fans would not like lesser known teams in the competition as they have been used to
supporting some of the best teams in Europe in the Champions League.
“It is complete nonsense.  I have liked almost everything that Platini has done so far, but now he is completely on the wrong path. The fans don't want to see the third-placed team from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lithuania-c2944,” he concluded.
Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of retaining the Bundesliga title and are a staggering eight points ahead of Bayern Munich on the standings table. There are still three games to play for and another win would certainly ensure
the title.
