WaveBlaster II + Joystick Problem

Question

I have always used the game port on my SB16 to connect my gravis gamepad. But since I have a WaveBlaster II, I can't use my gravis gamepad because I have no music when I plug it in my sound card (very strange isn't it?). When I use a 2-button joystick everything works perfectly. (If I choose SB16 for music instead of General Midi in my games, my gravis gamepad works perfectly). I wonder if the SB16 can't support two add-ons at the same time (WaveBlaster II and 4-button joystick). Please tell me if you had the same problem and how to solve it.
