Waves in brighton?

im moving to brighton from SA in April. any decent waves in this area? i know about cornwall spots and croyd.

  1. Only in times like this, which is storm weather.  You're better off catching waves in Cornwall, they have all the decent ones and the ocean is slightly warmer there too.  Brighton has a stone shoreline, not sandy beach, and is now pretty much known as the place to go for the g*y scene (clubs, shops etc).  The only time it becomes a beach is in high summer, when thousands of people flock to it and take up all the space.  I used to live about an hour from there when i was a child and although we had great fun picking up the fossils from the stones on the beach, we wouldn't go there for sunbathing or a beachside front - we used to visit Cornwall for that :)
