Question:

Wavy hair Situation ?

Okay, so I have wavy blonde hair and I straighten it occasionally. Whenever I wear my hair wavy it feels like it looks bad because it feels like I just woke up, got dressed and went out the door without doing my hair. How can I make my wavy hair look better but still keep the natural feel? Lol sorry if that's confusing. Any products I can use that are cheap? Pictures of them would be great! Please and thank you.

  1. Hi there ♥

    I have a solution!

...not something I "googled"-- it is something I actually do for my own hair to keep the wavy/bo-ho look but not look like a total mess.

When i get out of the shower I towel try my hair and use the blow dryer for 5 minutes or less just so that its not dripping wet but that its not completely dry either. I then put in a dab of biosilk silk therapy

and run it through my hair, more on the ends than the roots. i part my hair and scrunch it into two different sections on my head. you look a little crazy like bozo the clown lol but leave them scrunched and tied up tight for about 20 minutes. when you let them down you will have nice, soft waves.

The biosilk silk therapy is really good for your hair, please only use a dab bc way too much makes it slick..and can look greasy depending on how it mixes with your hairs natural oils.

You can purchase biosilk online or at cvs or ulta or sephora..or even through ebay!

    best of luck love,

  2. I myself also have wavy hair, and I know how you feel.

It depends on what you want, really. If you want soft waves, I'd go for dream curls by John Frieda, or any type of scrunching cream by sunsilk (I myself like their wave spray, in a blue bottle, but it gives your waves that sticky, wet look) Sunsilk's captivating curls scrunching mousse works great as well. It's in a green bottle.

with the john frieda stuff, you can just scrunch your hair at night & let it air dry. then in the morning, you can you just spray a little bit in your hair, scrunch, then it looks great and really soft! And it doesn't look like you've rolled out of bed

Or, if you shower in the morning, when you get out just scrunch your hair like always, then blow dry it lightly (you don't need a diffuser, but if you have one just use that) and scrunch it, that way it can at least be a little bit dry while you're getting dressed, doing your morning routine, and yet it won't be sopping wet.

And luckily, the items I have mentioned you can find at Walgreens, CVS, etc. Basically anywhere. Usually from $5-6.

Or you don't even have to get the ones I recommended; just look for scrunching mist or scrunching mousse.

    =D GL w/ your hair!
