Wavy shadow on right side of screen

Question

We have a dark gray wavy shadow on the right side of our vizio 32" screen. It started as an irregular vertical wave approximately 2" x 8" and has grown and darkened to cover nearly 1/3 of the right hand side of the screen. It is most visible when the picture is a bright background especially white.
