Waxing my upper lip the first time..?

Question

I chickened out when my mom was going to wax my eyebrows.. what hurts more the eyebrows or the upper lip?

its my first time.. and my mom said it hurts since its the first.

even when i get a shot i sorta scream like barely

rate how much it will hurt? 1-10

is it like "ahhh" screaming bad?

btw, what ways could i make it not hurt as much before it gets waxed.. ive heard washing it for 5 min, and my mom suggested powder too..

and is it going to help if theres barely hair but like not even 1 centimeter long, more like 1/4 of a centimeter.. will it grow?

The upper lip hurts more....but its not THAT bad as long as you do it fast.  I think it works best if you have at least a quarter inch, otherwise it might not pick up.  I've also heard of things you can spray on to eliminate the sting, but I don't know for certain.

probably a 8 or 9...but it all depends on how sensitive u are.. but waxing usually is very painful but worth it

Upper lip hurts more. I can't really rate it for you though. I don't know how sensitive you are.. But the waxing just hurts for a second, like ripping a bandaid off, just a little worse. And for the short hair, you can just bleach it if it seems too short.  It might be better because if you get it waxed, the hair just grows back darker and longer. Hope that helped. =)

i havent waxed my upper lip but i would think that it would hurt more than eyebrows

the first time i got my eyebrows waxed, it wasnt that painful (its quick n easy) and the 2nd time i got them done, i knew wat kind of pain to expect

im sure it will be like that for getting your upper lip waxed
