Waxing your upper lip?

Question

Hi, I am gonna wax my upper lip tmr. My cousin is gonna help me do it, I bought this kit today.

People say if you wax it, your upper lip get darker, is that true?

Will it grow more if I wax it?

Is it better to go it fast or slow?

eww u haver a mustache? haha and fast and it will grow back duhh jus the same as before... but it will take like 3 weeks.. and no its not guna be darker, thats shaving...

it really doesnt hurt that bad, trust me.

it wont get darker, i think. unless you burn it.

it wont grow more hair but it will grow back

its better to rip it off fast (i think thats what you mean?) to get more hair off

and when you wax youre really just ripping the hair out of the folicle thingy so you wont have any roots so dont worry about that

BE CAREFUL ABOUT BURNING YOURSELF THOUGH!!!!

seriously! i burned myself the first time i tried it and i had a nast scab on my face for like a week :(

Your cousin is going to do it?!

errr...  I wouldn't let your cousin do it unless you absolutely trust her.  It's best to get it done by a professional because the upper lip is a sensitive area and wax is something that you don't wanna mess with.

NO, if you wax your upper lip, it actually grows in lighter because each time you do it, you weaken the hair follicle.  Sometimes, it doesn't grow back.

It's better to go fast.  

Reduce pain?  ermm...not really.  My friends take aspirin and stuff.  Some ice their upper lip before a wax.  But honestly, I don't know if these work.  I just suck it up and clench my teeth.
