Wayne Bennett - what are your ideas on why he has quit?

But what do you think are the reasons behind him leaving.

Who should coach the Broncos in 09?

The reason he left is because Bruno Cullen, CEO of the Brisbane Broncos wants a new look to the Brocos and thought it was time to make a change(dumb), so Bennett may have been pressured.. Neil Henry coach of the Raiders will probably step in. If Bennett still wants to coach in 09 he has the Raiders, Bulldogs and Dragons to pick from

i think the reason for him leaving is that he was getting fed up with all the reports...(seems every year, there are reports linking bennett to different clubs........roosters, bulldogs, raiders, storm, bunnies, etc) and with all these reports, the players probably lost focus thinking he wil leave, so they would lose match after match.

I have no idea on who will coach them in 09, but there are already rumors going around that it will be a straight swap with Raiders coach Neil Henry (henry's contract expiers at the end of the season)

he may be worried that if the broncos win, he may smile and we dont want that to happen......

I don't know why exactly he's leaving. Wayne is a smart person his record speaks for itself. Charisma is not his biggest asset. Wayne's loved by many and most of this people are dignified and honorable.

I'm sure there's a good reason why he's leaving. He will let us know in his own terms if chooses too.
