heck no... I'll give you stick handling but no way on slap shot... Gretzky was the best cause he saw the whole ice and he used the net... he got a lot of goals or assists by setting up behind the net and throwing the puck out in the slot and that created either a goal or a rebound... he was slippery too, you couldn't really put him on his butt and render him useless... he'd either pass it or keep moving and ride the check out...

best slapshot and stick handling you'd be better off saying Bobby Orr or Brett Hull or Gordie Howe.

Mario was the best stickhandler ever.  99's shot was underrated but for stickhandling no one could touch Mario.  He didn't even play 1000 games and has 690 goals in 915 games.  His 85 goal season he was playing with Rob Brown and Bob Errey!!!

in his hay day , Gretzky really picked the corners with his slapper...  but I think best slap-stickhandle combo could go to a guy like Kovalev maybe...even Pavel Bure

Where did your ideas come from. Gretzky's slap shot couldn't break wind. Also Wayne never beat anyone with a deke. His greatness came from making the other 5 players on the ice with him better. Not from his playing skills.
