http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 has called on Sir Alex Ferguson to stay at Manchester United for another ten years as Manchester United’s veteran manager celebrated his 25 years as the boss at Old Trafford on the previous weekend. The 69 year old
has proved to be invaluable at Manchester United as he has led the Red Devils to countless trophies in the past 25 years ever since he took on the mantle in 1986.
Rooney was bought by Manchester United through Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s insistence in 2004 for 25.6 million pounds from Everton and the Englishman has been through thick and thin with Manchester United. Last season, Rooney looked to
be on his way out of the club but Ferguson convinced the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 man to stay at Old Trafford.
United are set to take on Swansea City after the international break and they will hope to continue their form after they gained crucial three points against Sunderland on the previous weekend at Old Trafford and in their mid-week
UEFA Champions League fixture against Otelul Galati at Old Trafford. United’s current crop has come under criticism in the past due to their 6-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City but Ferguson is adamant that his team are good enough to give their neighbours
a run for their money.
Rooney complimented Ferguson in his latest remarks as he said, "What he has done, not just for Manchester United but the game of football, is amazing. In my estimation, he's the best of the lot. It wouldn't surprise me if he was
here another 10 years. His hunger and desire are still the same. I've never seen anyone with his desire and passion. It rubs off, certainly on me and I'm sure on all the other players. Some of his team talks, you walk out on the pitch and you say to each other
'How good was that?”.
He added that in his childhood he saw Ferguson on the television and also in the media and now he is playing under the veteran Scotsman which is in itself a privilege and an honour.
