for Manchester United in the English Premier League

opponents on Sunday afternoon as they had plenty of goal scoring chances that went array.
Nonetheless, it was two goals by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 which gave United all three points that have now allowed them to regain the leadership of the English Premier League table with just 10 matches remaining in the league. Manchester City
lost their respective match at the weekend against Swansea City which allowed United to surge through to the top of the table. Wayne Rooney’s goal scoring form has been at the centre of United’s title charge this season and with 26 goals in all competitions
already this season, the Englishman is well on course to break the 30 goal barrier mark before the end of the season.
Rooney said, "I know how many goals I need to achieve [his personal best] but I am not really focused on that at the minute. We have 10 games left and I just want to help us get those points we need to be successful. The most
important thing is to win trophies."
He also admitted that Manchester United have not been at their best in the Europa League as he stated, "Fair enough, Europe has been disappointing, but we have had really tough games in the Premier League. We have played a lot
of the top teams. Sometimes we have not been at our best but we have still got the wins."
Sir Alex will hope that his front man retains his goal scoring form till the end of the season as United will want to hold onto their one point advantage at the top of the league table and in doing so win their 20th
league title.
