Ways of improving tennis game?

I am 16 years old. I am 5 feet 10 inches and i use a one handed backhand and a semi-western forehand. My serve "style" is closely ressembled to how Andy Roddick Serves (i don't know why, my friends started saying that it looks like it). I guess i'm somewhere around a 2.5-3.0 and i want to improve my games now. I guess my first serves are pretty good. I usually try to hit a kick or slice serve on my second serve. Most of my first serves are flat serves and sometimes if i focus hard enough i can put quite some kick into it. I want to get prepared and start practicing more for my high school's tennis team. I use a babolat aeropro drive cortex strung with babolat pro hurricane tour 16 at 58 pounds. What changes should i make if i want to improve my game? And i think my strings are going to break soon... So what new strings should i put on? I'm starting to aim for more singles matches instead of doubles because i want to improve my game now. So what can i do to improve?

  1. Play in a lot of tournaments and play a lot of people better than you. And play regularly while doing this.

  2. um............. i not sure but...........try looking at google.com

  3. There is really only one site I can think of that I'd ask you to look it. Its kind of a launching pad for improving your game. Its  www.freewebs.com/framewinnertennis  . Worth a look, you won't be disappointed.
