  1. You're going to laugh, but ice water really does work. ok, so it doesnt work fast enough. Here's what will: soak a washcloth in ice water and place it on the back of your neck. After you are done screaming because it is very cold, you will feel very much cooler. It works!

  2. Fans, sprinklers, misters, spray bottles. Eat popsicles, Iced tea is nice to cool down with too, cool shower, i know if my hair stays wet it helps me stay cooler, other than sitting in a car with air conditioning or being in an air conditioned building I dunno what else can really be done besides this!

  3. Fans..............but the 150.00 air conditioner in a window is the easy way to go........about 4 hours of work and you are cool anytime you so desire........and you will not notice a difference in your electric bill.......just turn one more thing off in your house. good luck. I have to admit the naked doesn't sound bad........actually it's just me who is bad:)

  4. Save energy and money by using ceiling fans, they create a breeze that can help you feel up to 7 degree cooler.

  5. take a cold shower, and drink alot of ice water, and sit by a fan and dont like go running or get that active, its too hot.

  6. Try putting a bowl of ice water in front of a fan. Then sit in front of the fan. Also, don't make your bed. It traps the heat in it. You can also chill your sheets/ pillowcases in the freezer. Put wet, cold rags around your wrists and the back of your neck. That'll keep your entire body cool. Taking a cold shower will make you feel hotter when you get out, so you should take warm showers.

    hope that helps.
