Ways to collect aluminum/ aluminum cans?

Question

I looking for ways to collect aluminum/ aluminum cans. Not only does it do the environment a favor, it helps me as an alternative way to make money. Does anyone know good LEGAL ways to collect aluminum cans? (when i say legal, i dont want to tell someone the aluminum is going to a childrens fund when it is really going into my bak account.)

buy a truckload of soda and pour it all down the drain. Keep the cans. I did the same thing for cereal boxtops

i agree with arby. also - let your friends and family know and maybe they will save all their cans for you.  walk along road sides in the spring and collect all cans that has been threw out over the winter,  take a kid's wagon to haul them all.

We used to walk around stadiums after a sporting event, and we could collect a ton of aluminum in a short period of time.  That was in the days before soda's were readily available in plastic bottles, but I'll bet there are still a lot of them just scattered around.

Your question implies that you don't just want to collect aluminum:  You want to engage others in collecting it for you as well.  Start a club.
