There is no way to stop air pollution because there are also natural causes of air pollution such as, volcanic eruptions. There are ways, however we can do to lessen the air pollution done on our part.

Watch what you burn.  When you turn your car on you burn fossil fuel, which emittes toxic gasses such as, CO2, CO etc.

If where you live you burn garbage do not burn plastic or other substances that have petroleum in them. If you smoke, if possible, try to quit; it is better for you and the environment.
