I want to know some good ways to get rid of acne, either using store-bought products or home remedies. Best answer gets 10 points.

  1. WELL I USED TO HAVE A ACNE PROB BUT NOT ANY MORE =) I USE OLAY FACE WASH (IT RELY WORKS) I WEAR MAKE UP SO  I HAVE TO WASH MY FACE WHEN I GET HOME FORM SCHOOL TO GET THE MAKE UP OFF CAUSE IT HELPS LET YO SKIN BREATH AND I WASH MY FACE EVERY DAY BEFORE AND AFTER BED.  


  2. okay this is crazy wierd story, i always drink water, but it didnt do anything for  rmy skin, so i started washing my face day and night with st ives apricot scrub, and drinking V8(because i dont eat fruits or vegetbales) and it improved in about 3 days it was crazy...i always had some little acne on my face

  6. Try these home remedies to get rid of acne:

    • Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice with 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples and wash it after 20 minutes with warm water. Repeat for two weeks,

    • Use aloe vera juice on the pimples morning and night for as long as necessary (perhaps five months or longer).

    • Make orange peel paste by grinding it in some water. Apply on and around pimples.

    • Rub garlic on and around pimples.

    • Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the treatment of pimples.

  7. i am a certified beauty consultant and here are my suggestions.

    keep a daily diary containg what you used on your skin, what you did (exercised, etc.), and what you ate. I know it is said that food isn't the culprit, but it can help you figure out what may be the cause of your outbreaks. For instance, I eat chocolate when I'm down. No chocolate doesn't cause acne, but i eat it because I'm down. Therefore, the hormonal change from me being happy to being depressed may be the stressor and the root of my acne outbreak.

    Also, clean you cell phones and landline phone receivers with a sanitizing or antibacterial wipe once a week and wash your pillowcases 1 to 2x a week in woolite.

    Acne just doesn't form over night. It begins days before you see it, so find a skin care regimen best for you. Being that you have acne, your skin is probably oily. Use a foam cleanser. Follow with a toner (witch hazel is a good natural toner). Then use a non- comedegenic and oil- free moisturizer. Try avoiding home remedies because the can get rid of it temporarily, but in the long run, too much may be harmful, depending on what you chose to use.

  8. here is my skin care routine i hope it helps you.

    every day i use cetaphil wash to wash all my makeup off and what not and then i use differin at night along with moisterizer

    in the morning i use benzaclin along with moisterizer

    and about 2-3 times a week i use an at home scrub which is baking soda and water mixed together to form a paste and then you GENTLY exfoliate your face.

    benzaclin and differin can be prescribed by your dermatologist.

    i use the oil-free ultra calming aveeno moisterizer with spf 15.

    as for spot treatments try toothpaste! i love it! it reduces pimples overnight. of course they are not COMPLETELY gone, but noticabley smaller or reduced in redness.

Next time you go to your doctor for a physical ask him about a medication called BenzaClin,you see results in 2 weeks and it works like a wonder,if you can not get to your doctor soon enough i would recommend oxy chill factor face scrub and Clean and Clear day moisturizer. First use your oxy (dab dry) while your face is still damp rub the clean and clear on it(you can use it day or night it does not matter at all) Do this twice a day (when you wake up and before bed)  and it clears your face in 3 weeks,but keep using it or wash your face twice a day with hot then cold water,just because your face is clear does not mean it can never break out again.
