Ways to exersise ur legs at home for horsebakriding?

i do horsebak riding and im good in all, but my legs need to get used to using their muscles. im young and hav strong legs but havnt done a sport where u use a lot of leg so id like to strenghthen them up by a simple exercise i can do at home?

  2. Squats.  Sit on a chair and strattle it like a chair so you get used to it because if you aren't and you do it for a long time, it hurts really badly.

  3. get a barrel and turn it on its side and squeeze it with your legs or stand up and go up and down on your heels.that's what my instructor used to tell me i think,i could be wrong though=)

  4. Volleyball jumps. Crouch really low with your bottom almost touching the floor and then jump as high as you can vertically. Do this over and over. Lunges will always help too. Overall flexibility you know.

  5. get a yoga ball and do there exercises.. i thought it was a dumb idea but i tryed it and its really use full. but not all yoga DVDs are about leg strength. so you might have to make up exercises. And plus even when your now exercising on a yoga ball its still fun to play with it.
