Ways to get Donations?

Question

I have been sick with Lyme Disease for the last year, have lost my job of six years, and am basically homebound. My income has gone from great, to practically nothing. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any way to collect donations online (maybe a Web site where you can post your story). I'm absolutely desperate and don't know what else to do...

There are websites where you can post your story but chances of you getting something to help will probably be slim. If you are involved in the church see what your church family can do for you.

Also I know money is tight everywhere so make a blog, blogging about your how your life has changed because of the disease and what it has put you through. If you have ads on the blog, once people click them you will get the money{you could use Google Adsene}.

Some affiliate programs work well with blogs. I recommend Never Blue Ads, once people sign up for free sites they pay you. I've been with Never Blue Ads for a while now and have made atleast $5000 a month since.

I'm guessing you could tell family and friends about your blog and then they can fill out the offers. That way you get the help you need and they don't have to come out of their pocket.
