Ways to help heal sore nose?

Question

My kittens had bad URI's and have been treated with Clavamox and are all better. The thing is, the one kitten had a runny nose and became OCD with l*****g it clean. Now his nose has been sore and red even though he's been all better for about a week. I put vaseline on it once, but was wondering if there was something else I could do to help it. He's being adopted this weekend and would like to have it moisturized a bit so it looks better and not so raw.
