Hi everyone, I am 38 weeks today and I am being induced next Friday if I don't go into labor before then. Well I want to avoid being induced (kinda...I want to meet my baby really bad!) but I want to try and bring on labor before then...What if anything worked for you?

  1. - s*x, if you water hasn't broken

    - castor oil

    - e***a

    - nipple stimulation (but they say to do this in the presence of a medical facility)

    - walking

    - yoga

    ... good luck!

  2. Unripened papaya

and rubbing the back of the foot between your heel and ankle

  3. Being induced blows because it's intense labor right away, but then again, there's not really a nice way to do any of it.  I would have s*x, walk a lot, tell your baby to hurry up, and if you do have to be induced, get an epidural as soon as you can.

  4. try walking every  night and see if it works

  5. s*x

    nipple stimulation

    certain herbs

    castor oil

    accupressure

this website explains in detail each of these.

    Good luck!

  6. Start walking, cleaning, and intermix that with warm baths......

They were going to induce me when I was 36 weeks and I refused, so I started walking for 6 hours, every hour getting into the bath, and 4 hours before my scheduled induction my water broke....not sure if it was luck or not...but I would recommend walking.

  7. Try walking and have s*x..

    That seems to help.
