  1. I can answer this question in part.  I wanted to share with you a green way of shopping.  This on line store has been around for 23 years and they carry all plant based and mostly organic products.  Their wonderful full line of household cleaning products do not contain phosphates, formaldihyde, chlorine, or other chemicals.  In fact safety caps are not needed because these products are safe for children and pets.  This store has pharmaceuticals, bath and body, cosmetics with real vitamins, not rejected ones, food and wonderful patented supplements and vitamins the list is so vast.  When you shop at this store you actually get free stuff, earn rewards and real money in a check each month.  They have preferred customers and business opportunities, even not for profit programs for Churches and other organizations.  I am green now and mostly organic.  I grow my own organic garden and raise my own meat and dairy goats for milk.  This store even has pet products, pesticides for my garden and fungicides for livestock.  I learn something new everyday since I decided to go green.  We all can't change over night but this store sure has helped me.  These products are less expensive than Wal mart's and they work better too.  I can tell you that one ounce of this plant based laundry soap cleans my hog farmer husband's clothes better than Tide ever could. The difference is this store doesn't test on animals use animal by products and they care about our safety.

Seriously....let us all do what we can to preserve ourselves and our planet.  Recycle, buy those fabric bags instead of using plastic.  I realize there is so much the entire the world has to change but if we all just do a little bit we will be helping ourselves live a longer safer life and we will helping others and the planet.  I can't advertise publicy it's against their policy, but I can tell you the name of the store and how the customer rewards program works if you email me directly.  I am not selling these products they don't do that!  Good luck to all of you trying to go even a little green!

  7. Reduce, reuse and recycle.  Look at the products that you buy for overpackaging and buy ones that aren't.  When you go to throw something away, see whether you can conceive of another use for it.  If it can't be repurposed, recycle it.  When you no longer need a household item or garment, see whether someone else might use or enjoy it.  It is really a matter of looking at what changes you can make on a daily basis to use less, use items more intelligently and do what you can to reduce waste.  Also, use cleaners like baking soda, vinegar and lemon juice where ever you can and there are a lot of things that can be cleaned with these simple household items.

  8. buy those curly light bulbs get this they save you $368 pur package isn't that awsome and they help the enviroment also you can either recycle or reuse your grocery bags instead of just throwing them away i mean come on if we waste trees we suffer cause trees clean our air and one last tip if you print whole presentations print front and back saves alot of paper witch saves you money

  9. People really don't want to live green...The best would be to live where you work, so you don't need to drive (or take transportation), you grow or raise all your own food, etc.

People like to waste; they live in good farm land, take hour-long showers, "cruise" around in gas-guzzling vehicles.

If you want green, buy food as close to natural as possible, don't eat out, don't buy TV dinners or other prepared foods, collect rinse water from showering/washing dishes to flush the toilet, grow everything you can (even in an apartment folks can raise tomatoes, lettuce, onions), walk as much as possible, keep the place cool in winter and let it be warm in summer, etc.

And recycle as much as possible.

  10. Change all of the light bulbs to energy effiecient...
