Ways to make a model volcano explode?

Question

We tried baking soda and vinegar, and that fizzed a bit but didn't do anything besides make a noise. Then we tried dish washing detergent, vinegar and baking soda and that only fizzed a bit and made a noise. Mentos and coke did nothing. Any other ways which will make it EXPLODE? We dont want a bit of fizz, we want it to quickly rush to the top quickly.... and we cant really get our hands on chemicals so any ways with household items??

mentos and diet coke did not work, maybe you used wrong amounts

try coke and baking soda and if that doesn't work try shake a cola a take the lid of when u have got every thing ready  the gas is going to pop out
