Ways to raise money for a charity?

ok me and my best friend want to raise money for diabetes. we are only 11 and 12 years old so we need some ways that we can raise money. around $100 to $400 dollars we were hoping. any good ideas?

First contact someone from the organization you wish to help.  You need written permission to collect funds in that organization's name.

They might also suggest ways you could raise money.  Car Washes are always good fundraisers for young people to do.

Why don't you start by putting a dollar in a jar each week from your own money.  Best way to ask people for money is first to make a gesture that you are committed

Some ideas:

Ask your parents please

1. Sell something on Ebay

2.Ask 25 friends to give 1 dollar

3. Ask 25 of your parent's friends to give up on "Starbucks" type drink a month

4. Ask your parents if they can put a collections jar at work

5. Put all your spare change in a jar
