my little brother (11) is on myspace and ebay...like 24/7.

when i deleted his first myspace my mom blamed me, when in reality, HE SHOULD NOT EVEN HAVE ONE. now my parents are semi on my side..

i even got kicked out of my school for saying things on the web.

and im protecting him from doing the same stupid stuff.

my question is, how can i block these websites, or keep him from getting on to them?

  1. go to like radioshack or an electronics place where they will have computer software, so buy some parent advisory stuff, or heck if your like my family then take his laptop or computer and remove the WLAN card in it or the internet card or if you don't have wireless, then cut some wires, make it look like a mouse got it .

good luck, my sis is like that with tv lol ever since we got satellite. good luck

  2. It's so awesome that you want to protect your lil bro. Ultimately your parents have to step up and be the ones to put a stop to it though.  Sounds like they are turning a blind eye , in denial, or really don't know what's going on.  Sounds like you should have a talk with them and show them the dangers so they can take action.  They can put parental blocks on line but I've yet to see one that actually works.  Your bro will need to be supervised when he's on line for a time for his own protection if he can't be trusted.

    Blessings:)

  3. Jeeez......

Calm down dude.I understand being protective but this is too over protective. And plus, on myspace you only add your friends so theres no pervs.

Nothing wrong with what he's doing, why do you not like the websites anyways ???????????

Stay out of other peoples business.

And if you got kicked out of school for saying things on the internet, you're probably controlling and rude.

  4. You cannot. It is NOT your responsibility it is your PARENT'S responsibility. If they aren't going to supervise him ANY BETTER than that tell them NOT to complain about his or your behaviors.
