Ways to use the River!! but not...?

What are some ways we can use the River, but it can't be

Fish,Drinking,Bathing,watering plants,playing,river rafting,toliet polution,transportation,water for cooking,esticts

Many people build cabins and homes along the river simply for the beauty of it.  Sightseeing can be another use.  If large enough it could be used for producing electricity.  The natural use of the river and the purpose of it's creation is to drain the excess water from the soil, tributaries, lakes and ponds.  Another purpose of the river is to build up land mass such as the relationship between the Mississippi river and New Orleans.  It also supports wild life.
