Ways to volunteer,PLEASE HELP!!!?

I want to get into a good college and i know volunteering can help a lot

what are ways to volunteer, i live in wayne NJ and don't know what to do

Any charity non-profit organization is good.  Try the Goodwill, UNICEF, Boy Scouts, a local church, sport leagues, animal shelters, the library, schools, etc.
