  1. The town MUENSTER in WESTFALEN (Westfalia) is just beautiful!

A decent hotel to stay right downtown: Stadhotel Muenster (formely Kolping Tagungshotel). Ask for a discount if you stay Sunday-Monday. They can give you great info on what to do in Muenster as well.

From Muenster to Berlin  is about 4 1/2-6 hours on the Autobahn - depending on traffic.

  2. And stay at the propellor island lodge in Berlin.

  3. You definitely need to see the Berlin Wall.

  4. watch the movie "Eurotrip" before you leave here

  5. First of all , a ride with the 100 bus.

If U want to see a museum then Pergamom museum is free entrance every thursday.

Definetly Potsdamer Plaz, Alexander Plaz, Chechpoint Charlie and many many more.

Ask there , Germans R very friently and most of them they speak english.

  6. Try www.mappy.com. They will give you a detailed route description and lists with hotels and restaurants. The trip should take about 10 hours. If you have more time you could see Flanders Fields, Brugge and Ghent in Belgium. It will be a more than one day trip then. While in Belgium, try the local beers but do not mix them!

Please note that as you will have to travel through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany the names of a few towns will be spelled differently, I give the most important ones, the letters between brackets indicate the language F(rench), D(utch) and G(erman):

    Calais (F)= Kales (D)

    Courtray (F)= Kortrijk (D)

    Lille (F)= Rijsel (D)

    Bruges (F)= Brugge (D)

    Gand (F)= Gent (D)

    Bruxelles (F)= Brussel (D)

Have a nice trip. May the good ones win!
