  1. It may depend on the port, but in San Francisco I saw a lady carry flowers onto a ship yesterday.

I strongly suspect that they would be more strict in Mexico and other places that have problems with parasites.

  2. I would call the cruise line and ask them. That would be your best bet because you wouldn't want to bring them and have them ruined or not bring them and find out that you could've. So your best bet would be call the cruise line directly! As for the bigger cruise lines, Royal caribbean, Carnvial and so on you can buy flowers on board the ship but they are prob. REALLY expensive. But contact the cruise line! Have fun!!

  3. I think you can carry flowers on the ship, but if not, you can purchase flowers for your cabin right on the ship. I would check with your cruise line on this policy to be sure.

  4. They'll probably search and destroy them...but, quite possibly, they will.

I'd check the rules and regulations sheet just to make sure.

  5. I know the cruise I went on didn't let us.  They didn't want us bringing any unwanted bugs or deases on to the ship.

Same goes for when your on an island you can not bring a flower from the island onto the ship.

  6. If you buy flowers in an airport or cruise port, or even get them from a store here in the US you can carry them on board.  We have done that.  BUT, you cannot bring flowers from the ship into the US or any other country's port.  The customs and immigration card that you fill out is about the same for all countries and it asks if you are bringing in any plants, i.e. flowers
