Traditionally we deep fry the fish, Hush Puppies, French Fries and serve Cole Slaw but this time we want something more. What else could we serve our guests?

  11. I would like to point out to everyone that, nutritionally speaking, corn and potatoes are NOT vegetables.

I think just slice up fresh summer veggies (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli) on a big platter with 2-3 dips would be brilliant, healthy and easy.

  13. If you study your history, the cavemen were the ones that killed off all the dinosaurs for their meat. The only dinosaurs left today are the ones in the ocean, because the cavemen didn't have the technology to fish in deep ocean waters. They could swim and use fish hooks, but the trawler wasn't invented yet. In fact, even the harpoon didn't come along until the era of Moby d**k, and the New England whalers. It was very easy to find God at the time, if you were drowning. I think you shouldn't serve your guests fish for this reason. Corn on the cob is acceptable or you can try sweet potatoes on the grill. Macaroni and cheese or potato salad is also recommended. I hope this helps.

  20. I love spinach or other greens with fish.  Also, northern beans go well with fish.  Fried Okra is often served with fried fish...but I don't really like it.  Steamed brocolli and carrots goes well.  Corn on the cob would be good too.  Sounds fun!
