what is the difference between an isolated thunderstorm and a scattered thunderstorm?

  1. scatter means throughout the area. isolated means only in one, small area. ur welcome hun.


  2. scattered mean they are around here and there, and isolated..  even less  than that...

  3. isolated= One (usually small) stormcloud moving about the area.

    scattered=Several to many stormclouds moving about the area.
