We've got no money?

my mums on benefits and all week we had today planned. we were supposed to go to the bank and draw out the money and then we were going to go to birmingham(i've never been there before) we were goin to go to loads of shops and go shopping it would have been a good day, but as soon as we went to the bank they have not put my mums money in, me and my mum have been everywhere we can think to try and find out why but nothing????, now i feel upset because we've got absoloutelt no money for the week and I can't go to birmingham, do you know what may of happened (i live in the uk so it might be different in the u.s.a) how are we gonna last the week with no money.

Benefit money does not get put into accounts on a saturday. It goes in on mondays. Also if you are on benefits then how can you even afford to go to any shops and buy a load of stuff? If it does not go in on Monday then she simply phones the benefits office and asks them why.
