Question:

We've just bought a chrysler voyager (3 yrs old) and the back row of seats has 3 3point seat belts, but......

....only room for 2 isofix seats, problem is the isofix points aren't in line with seat belts so when seat in position cant then fasten shild in. (car seats are aged 4-11). am hoping there is a simple way round this, can anyone please help?

  1. You can simply install the carseats with the seatbelts.

Truthfully, there may not be a simple way around it.  Your car seats  must be installed properly, or it not only comprises the function of the car seat, it comprises the safety of the child sitting in it.  Your best bet is to get your car seats professionally installed by a certified car seat safety technician.  Contact your local fire or police departments.  One of them may have a car seat technician on staff.  If not, call a neighboring town.  Make it your priority to get those seats installed properly and DO NOT drive with your children in them before they are properly fitted to your vehicle.
