We Want to have a Baby?

My husband and I have decided that it is time for us to start trying to have a baby. Well, the other day I was reading on Planned Parenthood's website and I was reading up on my birth control (Birth Control Shot (Depo-Provera). And when I was reading it said "Because the birth control shot is long lasting, it can take a long time to get pregnant after getting your last shot — anywhere from nine months to more than a year. So, Depo-Provera is not a good birth control method for you if you’re thinking of getting pregnant soon." I was very sad when I red this. So my question..... Has other women that has been on the birth control Depo- Provera had a hard time getting pregnant and how long did it take?

  1. it is very possible 2 get prego while on the depo-shot! make sure u and ur husband really want this because once u get prego there is no turning back!

  2. It can be very difficult.  For most women it takes a year or so.  I suggest you google "depo-provera" and read some of the womens stories on there.  Average from what I have read is 12-18 months to get pregnant.  Good Luck!
