People, not only famous ones but also random ones, can have certain qualities that we get to admire. It can be anyone, at a certain time, one's parents, one's neighbours, a passer-by whom one will never meet again. Sometimes we tell them, and they may look at you in surprise, not having thought till then that they could be regarded as so special, as they thought of themselves as normal people, maybe even beyond average... Telling them that we admire them for something may make them smile, or even feel good and show it to us. It is a nice feeling after all. Compliments, if honest, are great.

I admire many people, or have admired many people, or just certain qualities in them... even one...

I can't think of someone specific right now... maybe just Virginia Woolf, as I am currently reading from her writings, whom I admire for her strength and talent. Strength, because she had an unhappy childhood, being left with a psychological trauma from her mother's death, struggling with mental illness all through her life, but despite all this she continued to write and now she is one of the famous writers whom are studied and read worldwide.

I admire any single parent rasing more than one child.. It takes strength & so much to do it!! Hats off to them..Yeah sometimes we should express but somethings can be kept a secret..

First reason is they are unknown, means they don't know us. So if we admire them we will keep it to us because of fear of misunderstanding. We don't know them so its hard for us to find out how they take it and what impression they can have afterwards. People like when others admire them but they still would try to find the reason behind that and do not accept it seriously. I think it is better to keep quiet when we don't know the other person.

We cant express our admiration or love to everyone whom we admire..It will remain as sweet memories forever..The main reason for not expressing their love may be due to the fear of rejection..
