  1. many of the voters are senile old bats, I think we need mental qualifications. I mean we are electing people to run the country, a good intelligent choice is needed

  2. because the ones not complaining are the ones with the voting powers. unfortunately they seem to be the majority.

  3. in some way term limits might help, but it also could hinder

  4. The one problem with term limits is that the folks who would vote on the legislation are the same Congressmen who don't want to go away.

  5. NAH NAH NAH NAH  NAHNAAAA ....Ur in the twighlight zone .

  6. Term limits are necessary.  The President can only serve two terms, why shouldn't Congress have some restrictions.  The Senate should be limited to two consecutive terms (12 years total) and the House should be limited to four consecutive terms (8 years total).  You can always run for the same office again in the future, but you should be forced to sit out one term.  This way, more would be accomplished because the incumbent would not be worried about re-election every term.  I was taught that the goal of every politician is to get re-elected.  There is something fundamentally wrong with this.  They should be working for our country, not working to feather their own nests at our expense.

  7. Historically, whenever the voters get an itch about "throwing the rascels out," they invariably reason that their "rascal" is not the problem.  We need term limits.

  8. Because we are just as dumb as our elected leaders.

  9. because the devil you know than the devil you don't
