  1. Well, liberals are doing whatever they can to help America fail and fall.

However, at present, most Americans are instinctively "conservative" and will help America succeed.

  2. ummm do you know that the us is not an empire?

  3. Good and valid question. I suppose we must leave this judgement to the Historians who are yet knee high and still pissing their britches.

  4. None that I can see at this point.

  5. There is no American Empire

    That would require an emperor/empress

  6. Well the first thing you have to ask is, are we an empire? During the early 20th century we became unwilling imperialists by annexing places like Cuba, Puerto rico and Philippines. Most of which we gave up. At this point, we are sort of an empire, but not one that conquers land, but rather spreads across the world with our economy. I suppose you're referring to recent events such as our slowing economy, gas prices and the war. To tell you the truth I don't think that the American empire is falling very much at all, not as much as we're led to believe. When you watch the news they make it seem as though everything is going bad and they make it seem like it's all because of Iraq or the President, but they don't really make the connection explicitly. Rather what they do it they do a report about the war, tell us how many people have died and how much it's costing us, then they show a report about our crippling economy and out enormous deficit, then they do a report about souring gas prices, and they play the reports over and over again, making us think all those things are connected. Fact is we spend more on education each year than we have ever spent on Iraq, about 200 billion more. Our economy may be hampered by gas prices, but gas prices aren't high because of Iraq and the middle east in-fact  we get most of our oil from  Canada, Mexico, and Venezuela. And it's not because there's no oil left, there's lots of oil, last year they found a huge amount in the gulf. The thing is our refining capacity isn't keeping up with demand, and that's partially because of chinas booming economy who's work force is buying more cars now. So to answer you're question there are some things that are hurting us but in my opinion the American empire is far from being toppled, and I think we will recover.

  7. It seems like a lot of people don't even realize we are falling into the same pattern that brought down the Roman Empire.  This time though, we get to look nuclear and biowar in the face.

  8. The U.S. falls and rebounds in the traditional and has been doing it for awhile.  So far the U.S. is a place and an idea which is a new concept as far as countries go.  Nobody is going to overthrow the U.S. government in order to be slaves under a corupt regime.

  9. Based on the fact that Obama has 'secured' the nomination, the fall is surely happening.

  10. America does not have an empire. America just has a grip on people based on fear.
