Can we soak them and cann them, or soak and freeze? Or put them in the dehydrator to insure they are good and dry and store in zip-lock bags?

We need as much detail as we can get. Thanks

  1. You can store them in an airtight container in a cool, dark place or check out this canning method at: pickyourown.org/canningdriedbeans.htm.  It's nice and detailed, but you need to use a pressure canner-it's all on the site, very easy!  Hope this is helpful.

  2. They are still usable and need only to be shelled then rinsed and allow the excessive moisture to drip off. Put them in a Zip Lock freezer bag and when ready to eat, prepair them as usual in hot water with maybe a couple slices of bacon or pork.
