We are adopting thur cps... We have everything done and waiting for CPS to contact us with our final approval.

Does any one know how long this might take?...

I'm not quite sure of what you are waiting for approval of.

Are you wondering how long it will take for them to let you know your home study was approved? If so it shouldn't take very long.

We had pretty regular contact with our social worker during this time.  She told us it would take a week or two, and then called us when the homestudy was finished and ready to be submitted. I guess it depends on how much work your social worker has, and if s/he is organized...give them a call and ask.
